Swaying garland,
Girdle of glowing roses,
Trembling in the Creator’s breath, —
Holy war
Spellbound in a rigid dance, —
Battle cry in the throats,
Death rattle,
Swords turned within,
Aimed into the hearts! —

Dark forlorn rose,
Still thinking of the farthest golden garden
